Last Jr. League Game of the Season!

And, for the 2nd year in a row, they are undefeated and headed to the playoffs!!
All of the boys were soooo excited! Parents and coaches, too! I was busy trying to capture pics of ds in action that I actually missed an awesome OUT he made at Home Plate!! (Yes, I get a little excited.)
Ds played the first two innings as Catcher, two as Short-Stop, and Pitched the last two innings-where he struck the players out-1,2,3!! These boys worked hard all season(as did the coaches!), really improving their skills and understanding of the game. Hard to believe they've been together for 3 years!
Funny thing about ds, is that he isn't very competitive! He's very good at sports-but he's really out there to play as he just loves it so much. A good reason not to move on to Select at this point in time. I know this could change in the near future, but the fact that he goes out, does his best, and has fun is super awesome. Maybe God did have Mercy on me in this area. I don't think I'd deal well with a kid that was a pouter,whiner, and only playing to win! Huh-uh!!
